This particular shade of light grey aran knitting yarn comes from a blend of Brown and white Hebridean cross Texel sheep. They live on the Tiree Tea croft.
It is a worsted wool, making it soft and cosy when it is worked up. The photos show the comparison between our light and dark Hebtex (this is the light)
