Description

Born with a crick in her neck, Wonky the lamb had a zest for life that refused to give in. After conquering social media one wobble at a time, she now grazes happily on our croft. Like Wonky, this refreshing blend of mint and nettle is an energising, zingy delight, packed with flavour and the kind of woolly determination that makes hearts melt and hashtags trend.

Formerly Tilley – same tea, different label. Tilley lamps once powered island homes. Now Tilley the Turbine powers community projects.

What is nettle tea?

Nettle tea is an infusion of dried nettle leaves. Wonky is our mint and nettle tea: 70% mint (peppermint and spearmint) and 30% nettle. The mint leads and the nettle sits underneath.

It used to be called Tilley. Same blend, new name, and a lamb on the front.

Does nettle tea sting?

No. The nettles are dried, and dried nettles don’t sting.

Does Wonky have caffeine?

No. It is mint and nettle only, with no tea leaves, so it is caffeine-free.

Just had a cup of ‘Tilley’ for the first time.
Absolutely delicious. None of the dusty aftertaste of commercial herbal tea bags.
I’m a converted big fan now.

I love Tired Tea’s Tilley tea. Initially, we brought some back from our trip to Tiree and got through the packet so quickly that we just had to buy more! Such a lovely taste and the tea bags are plastic free which makes it even better and guilt free. The only thing I would suggest: the option of a larger packet or even a tin so that we can get more out of each order (our most recent order, we ordered five packets). Honestly can’t recommend these more!
