Description

Born with a crick in her neck, Wonky the lamb had a zest for life that refused to give in. After conquering social media one wobble at a time, she now grazes happily on our croft. Like Wonky, this refreshing blend of mint and nettle is an energising, zingy delight, packed with flavour and the kind of woolly determination that makes hearts melt and hashtags trend.

Formerly Tilley – same tea, different label. Tilley lamps once powered island homes. Now Tilley the Turbine powers community projects.

What is nettle tea?

Nettle tea is an infusion of dried nettle leaves. Wonky is our mint and nettle tea: 70% mint (peppermint and spearmint) and 30% nettle. The mint leads and the nettle sits underneath.

It used to be called Tilley. Same blend, new name, and a lamb on the front.

No. The nettles are dried, and dried nettles don’t sting.

Does Wonky have caffeine?

No. It is mint and nettle only, with no tea leaves, so it is caffeine-free.

I was not sure what to expect but this was really good. Not as minty as I might have expected but I think this worked well.

Delicious minty smell as soon as I opened the pack. This is a really good drink at night, with just a little honey in it. Tradition has it that mint aids digestion and promotes calm sleep. I certainly sleep well each time I drink it!

Vibrant green leafed, pretty pouches, needing your name on the label tags.
A soothingly cool, refreshing zingy clean blend. Tastes and smells as fresh as this snow laden NW gale. Loved it. Looking forward to trying more. TJ Orkney

The logo on the label tags is definitely something we’re planning in the future! Glad you enjoyed it!

Very refreshing! Helps to wake you up at this time when many of us are confined to the house and tempted to laze around. Quite strong, so I don’t leave the teabag in for long (such matters depend on personal taste, of course).
