Gneiss Earl Grey has been inspired by a lighthouse! Gneiss is the bedrock of the Hebrides and Tiree gneiss was the intended building material for the Skerryvore lighthouse, but after the first three foundational courses the builders opted for softer Mull granite for the rest of the tower!
Like its namesake, Gneiss Earl Grey is a solid base for a great cuppa, topped with lighter notes.

What is Earl Grey tea?
Earl Grey is black tea flavoured with bergamot, a citrus fruit. Gneiss is Sri Lankan black tea (98%) with natural bergamot flavouring and blue cornflowers: a solid cuppa, topped with lighter notes.

Why is it called Gneiss?

Love this Tiree Tea found it when I was in Machrihanish. Loved it so much I tried to see if there was an outlet in Stirling where I could buy it. Unfortunately there isn’t so I order it direct. It’s absolutely fabulous try it for yourself you wont be disappointed.
